Fees

What does a keynote speaker cost?

Speaker fees range from $10,000 to $15,000

There is no single figure, and any speaker who quotes one before hearing the brief is guessing. What follows is an honest account of what moves a fee, so you can work out roughly where your event sits before you ask.

The Variables

Six things that move the number

Format and duration

A 45-minute keynote, a half-day workshop and a full-day offsite are different engagements with different preparation behind them.

Location and travel

A session in Singapore and one that needs two days of travel each way are not comparable. Regional work across Asia Pacific is routine and quoted accordingly.

Depth of tailoring

Interviewing your leaders and rebuilding examples around your business takes preparation time. A lightly adapted talk and a purpose-built one are priced differently.

Recording and reuse

If the session is recorded and distributed internally afterwards, that is a licensing question rather than a delivery one.

Exclusivity

Occasionally a client asks that Kenneth not appear at a competitor event within a window. That has a cost.

Audience size and format

A 60-person leadership offsite and a 2,000-person conference need different preparation, even when the content is the same.

Included

The fee is not just the talk

Most of the work happens before the date. These are part of every engagement, not line items added later.

  • A briefing call before the event, and a tailoring call closer to the date
  • Content shaped to your theme, industry and audience seniority
  • AV and technical requirements confirmed with your production team in advance
  • Arrival ahead of schedule for sound checks
  • Post-event summary of the frameworks covered

Tell us your budget

It is a more useful conversation than a quote that lands in the wrong bracket. If the budget and the brief do not meet, Kenneth will say so early rather than negotiate down to something neither side is happy with. Where a date matters more than the format, there is often a version that works.
