I'm Kenneth Kwan — a father of three sons, an engineer by qualification, an entrepreneur, author and today, a Certified Speaking Professional (CSP).

There was a point in my entrepreneurial journey when I looked at my bank account and realised I had just $21 left. That number has stayed with me.

It wasn't simply about the money. It was the uncertainty of not knowing what would happen next. I had responsibilities, a family and a business I was trying to build. Giving up would have been the easier option.

But I knew I had to find a way forward.
Not through one dramatic breakthrough, but by taking one step, then another, and another.

That experience shaped something I still believe today: our circumstances may influence where we are, but they don't have to determine where we go next.

And sometimes, meaningful change doesn't begin with a giant leap.
It begins with a small step.

Over time, I realised that the lessons I had learnt could help others navigate uncertainty, see possibilities and create change. That eventually brought me to the stage.

Today, as the author of Small Steps to Big Changes and a global keynote speaker, I've had the privilege of working with tens of thousands of leaders and professionals from more than 40 countries.

But speaking, for me, has never been just about inspiring people for an hour.
I'm passionate about human-centred change that delivers real organisational results — helping people think differently, take action and move forward.

Because I've learnt from my own journey that big changes often begin with small steps.
